STRONG GUARD INSULATING WATERPROOF ASHLAR , GLAZED BRICK, CHIMNEY WALLING- BINDING UNIVERSAL MORTAR – 5

PROPERTIES:

The STRONG GUARD Waterproof Ashlar, Glazed Brick, Chimney Walling – Binding Universal Mortar is a strengthened product, which can be applied by adding water to it. The mortar consists of cement, sorted quartz and admixtures.

There are basic colours available to order:

White Yellow Green Brown Red Grey Black

FIELD OF APPLICATION:

• Strong waterproof insulation and walling of fences, pillars, chimneys and base courses.

• Strong waterproof bindig of ashlar, glazed brick and any other corative elements.

• Waterproof Insulation and reinforced plastering of old and new chimneys.

APPLICATION:

• Preparation - Application

- Before walling the fences, base courses, the base concrete needs to freed from
dust and when the surface gets dried apply Strong Guard Waterproof Bonding Adhesive as it is
written on its packaging. After 2-3 hours’ drying walling can be started without any other type
of insulator.
The STRONG GUARD universal mortar provides not only high solidity but strong
insulation by every layers.

- Before binding ashlar, glazed bricks and any other decorative elements, clean the surface
of the wall, remove all the old plasters- lime paints, glue, then incise the horizontal
wall joints 0,5 cm deeply. The clean wall surface need to be satureted with Strong Guard
waterproof bonding adhesive, usage is written on its packaging.. After 2-3 hours’ drying
binding of the decorative elements can be satrted.

- Before reinforced plastering of old and new chimneys clean the surface of the wall, remove all
the old plasters- lime paints, glue, then incise the horizontal wall joints 0,5 cm deeply.
The clean wall surface need to be satureted with Strong Guard waterproof bonding adhesive,
usage is written on its packaging. After its solidification lay minimum 1 cm thick layer to the
chimney wall and use a metal-smoother to finalize it and get an even surface.

- Smooth, homogenous mortar can be made by mixing 25 kgs of plaster with 5-5,5 litres of water.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Apply the product between +5 ^oC and +25 ^oC.

• The fresh mortar needs protection against frost, rain and hot sunshine.

• After-treatment: spraying with water. Process is required as at any other cement based plasters.

• The after-treatment can be carried out only once with this Strong Guard Surface Waterproofing Agent, usage see its packaging.

• Distempered mortar provides long-lasting, vivid and wear-resistant colours in 1 work phase.

• Material needs: 16 kg /m² in 1 cm thickness.

• The product keeps its quality for 1 year.

• Packaging: 25 kg sacks.
