The hydrophobic admixture, through its surface-tension and its size, can considerably reduce the ingress of water of cement based concretes and plasters that is calculated from their surface.
The admixture, through its strong and constant positive-negative porosity, can repel the water from the concretes and plasters that went through after-treatment and got dried. It can block the water-penetration on both sides of the wall. The admixture’s strong air-permeability is effective only in porous structures, where it is able to do not only waterproofing and water-repelling but airing as well because of the inequal positive-negative charge of the water vapour.

Since the hydrophobic effect of the material is stronger than that of any other admixture, less amount of material is able to adsorb the same amount of oil contamination.
